Job Description

We have a new exciting new opportunity for a Technical Consultant who has worked on Audit and Accounting Platforms to join the Core IT team! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside leading industry authorities as part of a dynamic team working on the next generation BSS Audit & Accounting.

You'll be working closely with Security, Solution Designers and Architects to contribute towards platform design and strategy, that will successfully deliver and rollout services onto a stable robust platform able to meet high demand.

You will have a firm and detailed understanding of service assurance principals and working knowledge of platform architecture and design, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to understand sophisticated architectures and systems to deliver effective solutions to problems or business challenges.

You will contribute towards the platform and product strategy, providing key information and insight to innovate and evolve, whilst representing IT in multi-functional teams. You'll analyse, diagnose and solve platform issues, and identify and restore service effecting problems both re-actively and pro-actively.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Previous proven experience in a similar Technical Consultant role where you have implemented/engaged with audit and accounting platforms, with a background in IT and Transformation
  • Experience in integrations and software development at scale where the product and service are heavily dependent on IT platforms and constantly evolving technology within a complex technical Waterfall or Agile environment
  • Solid experience and understanding of ISO27000 process and other associates security protocols
  • Experience with Security appliances (Firewalls, WAF, Proxies .. ) as well as AWS services, security and platform
  • Demonstrable experience in using the principals of solution design and architecture including design patterns

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • An understanding of DevSecOps toolchains (Selenium, Jenkins, Git … )
  • Exposure with collaboration Tools (Teams, Atlassian ..)
  • Solid grasp of the SDLC and associated tool chains
