Here’s where you come in

Joining our newly formed Account Management team, led by our Commercial Director, you will help drive Unibuddy’s growth by nurturing and expanding relationships with our Higher Education clients in the UK and Europe.

You'll play a pivotal role in fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring client satisfaction through a deep understanding of their needs and how our technology solutions are uniquely positioned to solve their challenges.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of higher education institutions, serving as their primary point of contact for commercial discussions.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed revenue targets, sourcing, and managing renewal and upsell opportunities.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including department heads, and senior-level executives at higher ed institutions.

  • Understand the needs of your clients, and provide tailored SaaS solutions to help them achieve their admission/recruitment goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, client success, and customer operations to optimise sales strategies and enhance product offerings.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to capitalise on emerging opportunities.

  • Ultimately, delivering KPIs aligned with our retention and renewal goals, and % of revenue uplift.

What you’ll need to bring

  • Experience: Proven track record of successful account management in the SaaS industry. You’ve sold software to higher education institutions or related sectors. And it is essential that you have taken personal accountability for delivering KPIs related to retention and renewal, and % revenue uplift; you will have a track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role, and building lasting relationships with clients at decision maker and day to day level.

  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of the higher education landscape, including key challenges, decision-making processes, and trends impacting the industry.

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and pivot.

  • Traits: Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.

  • Salary of £60,000-£75,000 depending on experience.
