Within Supplier and Commercial Management, a Commercial Administrator supports our delivery plans and assists our technology teams through supporting the management and governance of 3rd party partner relationships, service contracts and supply chains. Covering the commercial lifecycle of supplier management and billing practises. With an etiquette of minimising commercial distractions and burdens for IT delivery teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Commercial Administrator you will support the commercial relationships with 3rd Party Technology Partners and IT Vendors. Supporting billing practises (including purchase orders and goods receipting), while administrating demand fulfilment (work requests) to ensure cost effective, efficient, and timely provision. Recording demand fulfilment activity and associated spend.

A Commercial Administrator will engage with business stakeholders, IT delivery, Finance, Procurement, and Suppliers to ensure commercial and procurement practices are used effectively to aid delivery and track IT budgets.

As part of service delivery, a Commercial Administrator will support financial forecasting activities and reporting, including tracking spend and highlighting any risks and opportunities.

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have previously worked as a Commercial Administrator, ideally for a large enterprise organisation. With exposure to IT Supplier Management, Billing and Demand Fulfilment Practises, and supporting IT Finance/Procurement activities.

  • You will need to be able to work as part of a team, with strong social and interpersonal skills.

  • You will have good communication skills and be able to maintain positive relationships with stakeholders alongside 3rd party partners and vendors.

  • You will have at least an intermediate level of knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel.

  • You will have practical experience of using SAP.

  • You will be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a clear working knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and terminology.

  • You will have a meticulous attention to detail and rigorous retention of auditable documents and records.

  • You will have worked effectively alongside Finance and Procurement teams.
