The role will be a key leading position in Mars Business, responsible for building the new SCC x-segment template, supplier activation strategy on Ariba Business Network and deployment of this new platform and process as part of segment roll-out strategy within Digital Core Program. The person in this role will coordinate with Mars segments to ensure their requirements have been collected and addressed in the shared template design as part of Direct procurement process and x-functional needs are met for Quality, Accounts Payable, External Manufacturing and others.

What are we looking for?

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business Management.

  • SAP certifications in SAP MM and SAP Ariba, preferred.

Knowledge / Experience

  • 7+ years of business functional or SAP implementation experience in Supply Chain, Material direct procurement, and Ariba Business Network

  • Significant functional and technical knowledge and experience in the Source to Pay modules of SAP S4 and SAP Business Network Architecture

  • Functional/technical proficiency with at least 2 full life cycle SAP implementations working on SAP direct, indirect procurement, co-pack, re-pack, 3rd party order and/or prior Experience with SAP Business Network implementations

  • Demonstrates the ability to assimilate new capabilities of SAP products (i.e. S/4 HANA, new SAP Ariba modules) and other strategic technologies like Robotic Process Automation, Machine Language, and Artificial Intelligence tools.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Supply Chain Collaboration capability design ownership and responsible for shared x-segment template build at Mars.

  • Manage 3’rd party partners to ensure SCC requirements are embedded into S4 design workshops as part of Digital Core program workshop schedule.

  • Manage the respective Mars Segment’s stakeholders to collect and prioritise their requirements, from Source to Pay, Plan to Fulfil, Quality and Food Safety workstreams.

  • Using data intelligence, develop and align supplier activation strategy on Ariba Business Network with the segments to enable successful pilots and further deployment.

  • Leveraging Mars data, KPIs and other FMCG companies experiences, develop a clear business case for Supply Chain Collaboration Enterprise capability in collaboration with SAP, BI and SI partners in Digital Core, Segments’ SMEs. Support the Segments-specific and location – specific business case discovery as the deployment progresses.

  • Provide support to Segments’ pilots implementation as part of Digital Core roadmap in partnership with Segment DTs and specific countries business representatives.

  • Support upcoming rollouts of SCC capability, including supplier activation and adoption, and provide guidance on process and technology to the business units.

  • Establish a governance process for SCC shared template and run it effectively with the segment’s participation. Ensure appropriate change management procedures are in place to protect production stability.

  • Drive a high supplier adoption rate and end-to-end value for Mars business by delivering the required functionality enhancements and training to support user success.

  • Continuously bring external expertise in to share best practices for SCC adoption that Mars can learn from and leverage.

  • Establish a DevOps organisation and process to support SCC platform once it goes live.

  • Manage ongoing relationships with SAP and DevOps partners to ensure quality support is provided as needed, manage licencing provision and TCO.
