Brand and Creative Senior Manager

Job Description

This role leads the First Choice brand and marketing efforts, driving creative excellence in our campaigns, communications, and content, as we build on a new strategy and direction for the brand and business. The role is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of our brand strategy and marketing campaigns, aligning across channels, and to business goals, so First Choice cuts through in the market and is relevant to our target audience. It manages a multi-disciplinary team alongside agency partners and is responsible for brand management, owned campaigns and communications, design, and website and marketing content.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Brand Management: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with business objectives and drive the business forward. Own and deliver the growth of key brand metrics, setting and managing internal and external KPIs to track marketing performance and support decision making.Lead the brand marketing function to ensure cohesive and effective brand management as we build on a new strategy and direction for the brand and business.
  • Campaigns and Communications: Lead a team to create and execute high-quality, impactful marketing campaigns, aligned to strategy, across various paid and owned channels. Own creative and media agency relationships including briefing, agreeing scopes and fees, improving ways of working to best deliver for the changing business needs.
  • Design and Creative Excellence: Drive the development of high-quality design and innovative creative ideas, from internal design and copywriting teams. Manage and improve the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring all outputs are impactful and effective. Act as guardian of the First Choice brand, establishing creative standards and continuously developing the brand to meet the needs of the business
  • Website & marketing content: Manage the team responsible for all hotel content, campaign writing, as well as creating inspiring, SEO-optimised copy across the First Choice website.
  • Budget accountability: Responsible for the planning and execution of the multi-million-pound brand marketing budget, creating the marketing investment plan to maximise short and long term efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the First Choice leadership team and TUI senior stakeholders are bought into your plan, managing activity to hit marketing and business targets. Work with commercial finance teams to ensure the right level of investment to deliver our intended growth.
  • Team leadership: Member of the senior marketing team, reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing. Manage a team of 15, including two direct reports, across a variety of marketing specialisms including brand, content, creative and design. Inspire, influence, mentor and develop individuals and teams, maintain high levels of employee engagement and NPS.

ABOUT YOU

  • A proven leader, ideally with experience in or working with a high-growth ecommerce industry. Capable of inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals and drive transformative change.
  • Skilled at turning business and brand thinking into effective integrated long term marketing strategies across owned, earned and paid media.
  • Creative thinker with a passion and proven track record for developing and delivering innovative and effective brand communications.
  • Exceptional communication, project management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage effectively across senior leadership teams and external partners.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ecommerce understanding, with a history of contributing to business growth in a dynamic and competitive market.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You thrive in leadership roles that require a hands-on approach and ownership of a clear strategic vision.
