Overview:

As a Senior Marketing Manager: Grocery and Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving marketing initiatives within the grocery and retail sector. You will lead and execute strategic marketing campaigns, analyse data to derive insights, launch test and learn campaigns, and collaborate with in-house agencies for successful campaign execution and the launch of new retail products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop an annual campaign calendar aligning with business objectives, seasonality, and market trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment with overall marketing and organisational strategies.

  • Identify target audience segments and tailor campaigns to maximise impact and engagement.

  1. Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Utilise data analytics and market research to gain insights into consumer behaviour, preferences, and purchasing patterns.

  • Drive data-driven decision-making and continuously monitor campaign performance against predefined KPIs.

  • Develop actionable recommendations based on data insights to optimise future campaigns.

  1. Product Launches:

  • Develop marketing strategies to create awareness and generate excitement for new retail products.

  • Monitor product performance post-launch and propose adjustments to marketing strategies as needed.

  1. Deliveroo HOP

  • Develop campaign calendar to execute alongside HOP Team

  • Ensure HOP participation in Deliveroo calendar campaign

  • Develop reporting and analysis dashboards and tools for OV, New customer, penetration and retention

  • The liaison between central and local teams for any product developments, launches or opportunities

  • Develop best-practices based on experiments, promotions and activations led by partner markets

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on retail and grocery industries (non-negotiable).

  • Proven experience in campaign planning, data analysis, and product launches.

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and marketing software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.
