Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager - Homepage & Mission Entry to help drive the direction for the Tesco.com and App homepage and mission navigation journeys. You will work on shaping and evolving the direction for the global homepage experience to ensure we have a single seamless experience that helps customer to navigate, discover and complete what matters most, wherever, however they shop. The homepage is one of our most visible pages so has big impact potential, it plays a key role in enabling customers to complete their mission, whether it’s completing their regular Grocery shop, scanning their Clubcard or looking for inspiration. You will ensure customers understand the breadth of Tesco’s services & showcase what Tesco has to offer, exploring how we can create a scalable structure that works for the future. You will work on key customer journeys to help ensure customers can seamlessly navigate into the mission that matters most to them, exploring how we can leverage personalisation and recommendations to help drive discovery and engagement. You will also use data and AI to drive smarter, faster product decisions.

  • Drive forward the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product, delivering initiatives that evolve the Homepage and navigation experience
  • Improve overall engagement for the homepage with a goal to increase customers shopping across multiple missions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in CX and discovery metrics
  • Use data and AI insights to identify opportunities and prioritise effectively
  • Support experimentation - test, learn, and scale what works
  • Partner with design, content, and commercial teams to evolve the homepage and components to ensure they inspire customers and support trade growth
  • Partner closely with tech teams such as DCS, personalisation, recommendations and media teams to deliver a cohesive and unified homepage experience that delivers value to the customer and Tesco

What we are looking for - Must have

  • Experience in ecommerce product management, ideally experience with customer discovery & content experiences
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills, especially when multiple trade-offs are involved
  • Ownership, responsiveness and commitment towards driving change in your product and processes
  • Empathy, building strong relationships to understand the needs and pain points of your customer, including internal teams
  • Strong experience in discovery, translating insight into clear product decisions and direction
  • Experience delivering customer-facing features with measurable impact
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, writing effective user stories & acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable working with data to drive decisions
  • Strong collaboration with engineering, design, and stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Exposure to AI/ML, recommendations, personalisation and content management
  • Experience with using experimentation and optimisation to validate hypothesis
  • Experience in driving process change

What good looks like

  • Delivers to outcomes, not just features
  • Uses data and AI insights to improve decisions
  • Moves quickly and learns through experimentation
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships
  • Focuses on customer impact and business growth
