Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communication Manager to establish and develop the communications capability across Rolls-Royce’s engine leasing, asset management, and materials trading businesses: Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance (RRPF) and Aether Asset Management.

The Communications Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering internal and external communications activities that support the approved business strategy, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and enhance the profile of the organisation.

Working closely with senior leadership, the role will ensure that strategic priorities, commercial successes, customer outcomes, and organisational developments are communicated clearly, consistently, and professionally to both internal and external audiences.

The role combines strategic communications planning with hands-on content development and project delivery.

What you will be doing:

Strategic Communications

  • Develop and maintain an annual communications plan aligned to approved business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Advise leadership team members on communication opportunities, messaging, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure communications activities are coordinated across RRPF, Aether and Rolls-Royce.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

External Communications and Brand Development

  • Develop content and communication campaigns that enhance market awareness of APL and RRPF capabilities.
  • Coordinate external announcements, press releases, executive profiles, interviews, event participation and thought leadership content.
  • Support preparation of marketing materials, presentations, customer-facing collateral and digital content.
  • Manage relationships with external communication, media, design and content partners where required.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase business achievements, customer success stories, innovation and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure all external communications comply with Rolls-Royce branding, legal and governance requirements.

Internal Communications

  • Develop and execute internal communications campaigns that support employee engagement and business priorities.
  • Produce regular leadership updates, newsletters, announcements and team communications.
  • Support organisational change, strategic initiatives and cultural programmes through effective communication planning.
  • Coordinate communications relating to company milestones, new hires, promotions, awards and business achievements.
  • Ensure employees understand strategic priorities and how their work contributes to business success.

Executive Communications

  • Support preparation of executive presentations, speeches, briefing packs and leadership communications.
  • Draft content on behalf of senior leaders for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate messaging for leadership meetings, strategy events and business forums.
  • Maintain high quality standards across all executive communications.

Content and Digital Communications

  • Manage and develop content across relevant digital channels, websites, intranet pages, and social media platforms.
  • Ensure content remains current, engaging and aligned with strategic messaging.
  • Maintain a communications calendar and content library.
  • Support production of video, photography and multimedia content where required.

Preferred requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations, or a comparable communications role.
  • Exceptional written communication and editing skills.
  • Ability to create clear, concise and engaging communications for a range of audiences.
  • Experience supporting executive and leadership communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to understand complex business topics and translate them into compelling messages.
  • Experience managing multiple communication projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital communication channels, content management systems, and social media platforms.
  • Strong presentation development and visual storytelling skills.
  • High degree of discretion, judgement, and professionalism.
