Job Description

Job Title: Aftermarket Operations Analyst

Location: Bengaluru, India

Function: Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)

Why join Rolls-Royce?

At Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere. Join Rolls-Royce and you could have the opportunity to work in a world-class engineering environment, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture.

Role Summary

Join our Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) function in Bengaluru and help keep the commercial side of engine repair and overhaul accurate, efficient and on time. We are hiring Finance Analysts for three focus areas: Invoice Vetting, Estimate Vetting and Clawback Support. Your work will support cost efficiency, protect profit margins, and ensure smooth operations for our customers and overhaul bases.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage invoice vetting: Review customer and Aftermarket MRO invoices against defined checklists, contracts and policies, including Fixed Price Repair Catalogue (FPRC), quantity and price analysis.
  • Validate estimates: Review calculations, rates, quantities, assumptions and supporting evidence against approved standards, contracts, benchmarks and historical data to confirm accuracy, completeness and commercial reasonableness.
  • Process clawback cases: Review, validate and process cases in line with approved policies, SOPs and authority limits, maintaining complete case records, trackers and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve exceptions: Identify discrepancies, omissions, duplication, anomalies, incomplete information and potential cost risks; raise clarification queries and coordinate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve data or system issues.
  • Make and escalate decisions: Approve, reject, return or escalate invoices, estimates and clawback cases in line with the defined authority matrix and appropriate risk channels.
  • Deliver on time and with quality: Meet agreed turnaround times, quality targets and service levels for Aftermarket MRO invoicing, estimate vetting and clawback activities while monitoring workloads, ageing, outstanding cases and performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documents: Digitise, validate and upload configuration, policy and supporting documents into designated systems, ensuring information is accurate, current, traceable and compliant with governance requirements.
  • Report and provide insights: Produce Power BI and Excel reports and dashboards covering volumes, outcomes, exceptions, ageing, turnaround times, service performance and quality trends; use analysis to improve planning efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support controls and governance: Perform quality checks, maintain audit-ready records, support audits and governance reviews, and keep SOPs, procedures and reference materials current as requirements evolve.
  • Improve and automate: Identify recurring issues and opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline processes, and digitise or automate analysis; partner with digital teams to design, test, implement and enhance approved solutions, and share knowledge across teams.

Position Qualifications

  • 2–7 years of experience in invoicing, estimation, cost analysis, clawback processes, commercial review or financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge of aftermarket repair and maintenance invoicing, and basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
  • Strong data management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with confidence working in a mid-sized team.

Preferred Requirements

  • A passion for continuous improvement, with knowledge of methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive aftermarket operations.
  • An understanding of operational maturity best practices.

Our vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future. Our multi-year transformation programme aims to turn Rolls-Royce into a high-performing, competitive, resilient and growing company. Join us, and it can be your vision too.

Rolls-Royce creates fair and impartial teams and non-discriminatory workplaces where we can all be at our best.

As part of our selection process, candidates in certain locations may be asked to complete an online assessment, which can include cognitive and behavioural aptitude testing relevant to the role. If required, full instructions for the next steps will be provided.
