As part of our growth plans, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our amazing Marketing team!

What will you be doing as Marketing Manager at Picnic?

As the Marketing Manager focused on Content, you will report directly to the Head of Marketing, playing a pivotal role in crafting and implementing quarterly content campaigns, PR initiatives and communications strategies. Your focus will encompass industry topics, product launches and diverse social content.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Own and execute impactful quarterly content strategies, ensuring alignment with overarching marketing objectives
  • Ideation and implementation of thought leadership concepts
  • Write press releases, maintaining a consistent brand voice and messaging
  • Cultivate relationships with key press outlets to optimise content distribution and coverage
  • Collaborate with designers and video animators to create visual assets for campaigns
  • Manage the social content calendar, overseeing the execution and release of engaging blog posts, case studies and company updates
  • Organise speakership opportunities and roundtable events to tie in with content campaigns
  • Support written industry award submissions, showcasing organisational achievements and innovations

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

Reporting to our Head of Marketing, as our second hire into the marketing team at our fast-paced ad tech startup, you will be someone who is both a leader and a doer. You can see the bigger picture but are not afraid to get your hands dirty and approach projects in a collaborative manner!

You will have:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years experience in a B2B generalist marketing or content marketing role
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, capable of distilling complex concepts into clear, concise messaging
  • Analytical mindset; adept at making data-driven decisions to measure strategy effectiveness
  • A strong eye for visual design, with experience using Adobe suite
  • Prior experience in media or adtech industry with understanding of the landscape
  • A demonstrated track record of success
  • Experience in event organisation and management
  • Existing relationships with adtech and media press outlets (highly advantageous, not mandatory)

You will be:

  • A strategic and innovative thinker, with demonstrable experience of delivering high-impact, stand out ideas
  • Self-motivated and able to excel in a dynamic environment
  • Highly organised with acute attention to detail

£35-50k salary range depending on experience
