Senior DevOps Platform Engineer – Auckland

We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to join our Platform Services team in Auckland. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of digital delivery across our global business, enabling our teams to build software safely, efficiently, and with purpose.

Your opportunity to thrive

As a key member of our Platform Services team, you’ll work on:

• Modern technologies and architecture
• Large-scale data flows and storage
• Automated testing and deployment
• Complex and meaningful engineering challenges

You’ll take technical ownership of solutions, working closely with the Product Manager to define and deliver impactful outcomes. You’ll provide technical leadership across workstreams, collaborate with global teams, and mentor others to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

What you’ll bring

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering
• Strong proficiency in:
  • C#
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Terraform
  • Bash scripting
• Experience with scalable systems and development best practices
• A commitment to quality and attention to detail

Bonus skills in areas such as multi-cloud architecture, networking, infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD pipeline design, observability tooling, security best practices, Python scripting, and database administration would be highly beneficial to the team and are welcomed.
