WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll design and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure—self-healing, auto-scaling, and disaster-recovery solutions—while collaborating with feature teams to drive automation and reliability.

ROLE AND TASK

As part of our agile scrum team, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud infrastructure components that empower our feature teams. Your key responsibilities:

· Architect, implement, deploy and operate scalable platform services

· Design self-healing, auto-scaling and disaster-recovery solutions

· Automate delivery pipelines (CI/CD) and implement robust observability

· Advocate cloud-first best practices and mentor feature teams

· Influence technical direction with pragmatic, innovative ideas

· Embrace “you build it, you run it” and take operational ownership

· Adapt quickly to new technologies and shifting priorities

WHAT YOU BRING

· Minimum 3 year in software/cloud infrastructure engineering; Bachelor’s in CS or equivalent

· Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)

· Solid understanding of network security, protocols and service mesh (e.g. Istio)

· Proven track record of automating CI/CD, monitoring, self-healing, auto-scaling and DR

· Familiarity with observability tools (EFK, Prometheus, Grafana)

· Scripting experience (Python or Bash preferred)

· Excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in English

We ensure those services are highly available, scalable, and secure—partnering closely with product and feature teams who design the APIs and microservices that power seamless commerce experiences.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP believes pay transparency is essential for cultivating an honest, supportive, and inclusive culture, representing a significant step in our commitment to leading the way in achieving pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range, which includes both base salary and variable incentive targets for the career level of the posted role. The target range for this position is 207 200- 383,300 PLN.

The actual amount offered to successful candidates will fall within this range and will depend on factors such as education, skills, experience, and role scope, as determined during the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a target amount, with the actual payout depending on both company and individual performance.
