Insight into the role
Our Commercial Team sits at the centre of our Home Services business. It's responsible for all products within the Vertical including: Home Communications, Mobile and Recycling products, Energy, Boiler Cover, plus more. We strive to build long term successful relationships with our brands to ensure that we provide a great experience for our customers. We are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to come and join our team of 5.
How you’ll spend your day
Providing leadership and direction in the Home Services vertical and and help drive the wider Home Services strategy; you will be directly managing 4 Commercial Managers.
Ensure we have a market leading cadence of high quality offers, and exclusives, available across our network, MoneySupermarket, MoneySavingExpert and our B2B partner network;
Maintain and enhance our key commercial relationships, including ensuring that we build better relationships with key decision makers and influencers;
Drive the trading process for the relevant products, ensuring that actions are identified and followed up, including negotiations;
Own the non-transactional commercial strategy (tenancy etc), driving growth where appropriate but ensuring we have a sustainable and robust revenue line;
Working with the General Manager to own an drive the strategy for key re-negotiations;
Ensure that ‘back-office’ functions (Customer services, pricing updates etc) are efficiently managed in line with agreed SLAs;
You'll work closely with other areas of the Commercial team and help Identify and implement B2B opportunities with partner brands
What value you’ll bring to the role
Have experience in management and be an inspirational leader who thrives on developing the performance of your team via delegation and empowerment;
Be an outgoing people person who builds strong, lasting relationships with clients and colleagues alike;
You'll have proven ability in presenting, negotiating and implementing sales initiatives / promotions; you will be commercially focused, relentlessly pursuing KPIs, securing contract renewals and growing revenue;
Enjoy big picture strategy development, but also comfortable working within the detail;
You'll have an appetite for self-improvement, development and learning
You will thrive when challenged, and not be afraid to challenge;
Ideally, but not essentially, have experience from within the retail energy sector
Have experience in working in commercial contracts;
