Overview

The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives cross-Region, cross-Area and cross-Subsidiary insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale.

Sales Excellence sits at the heart of the OU execution capabilities and serves as trusted advisors by driving insight and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale. The UK& Ireland Sales Excellence Team consists of CSA Aligned and Segment Aligned Sales Excellence Leaders who collaborate very closely with the Regional SEL and BSO (Business & Sales Operations) teams and UK&I Finance Teams on a daily basis to create impact.

We are looking for a motivated and outcome-driven Sales Excellence Specialist to join our UK&I SE&O team to support the Retail, Consumer Goods & Media Comms teams current and forward-looking business goals. You will maintain a predictable Rhythm of Business (ROB) with cross-functional teams to ensure quality five-quarter (5Q) rolling business outcomes. You will work with Sales leaders to instill sales process discipline on pipeline health management, guide Sales Leaders on Microsoft sales methodologies, and collaborate across roles and segments within then OU.

As part of Microsoft’s AI transformation journey, you will also play a key role in identifying opportunities to embed AI-driven insights and automation into sales processes, enabling more predictive, data-informed decision-making and operational efficiency across the business.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Health and Management – You will work with your team to instill sales process, discipline and adherence to standards and excellence in execution or pipeline health. You will adopt and share pipeline hygiene and health best practices within your team.
  • Sales Execution – You will support a coordinated MCEM rhythm of business that aligns segments, solution areas, and roles with key partners for seamless execution and accountability, and equip sales managers to operationalize core sales principles and strategy guiding quarterly activations around pipeline, top of funnel, and usage, while harnessing using IAP, MSXI 2.0, MCEM
  • Sales Execution Transformation – You will support the landing of sales strategies, processes, and objectives to drive sustainable growth and improved sales performance and drive efficiencies.
  • Agile Planning – You will support execution of always on planning activities in partnership with segment, accounts and operational leadership.
  • Sales Transformation - You will collaborate with team members to suggest actions to remove sales roadblocks, drive utilizations of investment, increase customer/partner-facing time, and enhance seller/partner capability and effectiveness.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • 1+ year(s) experience in sales, sales operations/management, account management, program management, business development, marketing, consulting, or a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom to be eligible for this role (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
