Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking top performing Account Executives with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client’s advertising needs.

As an Growth Account Executive (AE) you will be tasked with growing and maintaining accounts and relationships for our highest value new business in your local market. You will work closely with the Acquisition Account Executive and Growth Account Manager to drive meaningful growth across your portfolio of clients on Microsoft Advertising platforms. Your Search and technical knowledge, operational efficiencies and excellent customer service will not only help these new accounts achieve their goals and KPIs, but have a good experience with Microsoft as a new partner.

Responsibilities

  • As the Strategic Sales Planner, you will develop, lead and execute MSA sales strategy & priorities to enable client growth of existing and new products. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the client’s digital marketing journey from current to future state.
  • You will work to influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify clients’ end to end needs.
  • You will lead Sales planning with the Account v-team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the v-team. Works in partnership with v-team to bring the best resources to ensure deal success.
  • You will expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning. Effectively maintains good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections & negotiations.
  • You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
  • You will execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals per the MSA Solution Selling process for new deals, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND consolidated experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND several years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • Extended experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
  • Extensive working experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • Proven ability in building strong clients relationships and influencing key stakeholders to drive account growth.
  • Customer obsession, a passion for innovation and best-practice sharing, all while delivering exceptional results over time.
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance, measured against revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.
