Job Description

What you'll bring to the team

We're looking for a Capital Projects Coordinator to join our Technical Services team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of capital projects across the Resort, helping to coordinate plans, track progress and keep projects moving from concept through to completion.

This is a role for someone who enjoys organisation, working with multiple stakeholders and making sure the details are managed effectively. You'll work closely with Project Managers, contractors and operational teams, helping to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

This is where you come in.

Reporting to the Senior Capital Projects Manager, you'll support the delivery of the Resort's capital programme by coordinating project plans, monitoring budgets and maintaining project documentation. You'll work with Project Managers and stakeholders across the business to prepare approval papers, support tender and contract processes, coordinate meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.

You'll also play an important role in ensuring projects meet compliance and governance requirements, supporting planning applications, contractor management, audits and health & safety processes. From maintaining project records and CAPEX tracking to coordinating site access, inductions and handover documentation, you'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently while supporting the safe day-to-day operation of the Resort.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, based at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation and administration.
  • Confidence working with contractors, suppliers and operational teams.
  • Good understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance processes.
  • Experience within construction, engineering, facilities, attractions, leisure or other operational environments would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify risks and support effective project delivery.
