People Operations Lead - Europe (f/m/x)

Temporary assignment for 12-18 months

in Mars Global Services, HR Department

Location: Warsaw

The HR Global Service Center Operations Lead will guide and develop a high‑performing team delivering outstanding HR services to employees, managers, and HR partners. This role ensures operational excellence, drives continuous improvement, and enhances the employee experience through efficient service delivery, strong leadership, and effective stakeholder collaboration.

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement, capability building, and talent growth.

  • Manage daily operations to meet SLAs, data accuracy standards, and service quality targets.

  • Plan and optimize team schedules, workload allocation, and cross-training to support consistent service availability.

  • Serve as escalation point for complex cases, ensuring timely resolution and identifying coaching or improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, audit controls, and accurate HR data maintenance.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data insights to enhance processes, efficiencies, and customer experience.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Payroll, Benefits, Digital Technologies, HR COEs) to support end-to-end service delivery.

  • Contribute to global governance, standardization, and operational alignment across the HR Global Service Center.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field).

  • 5+ years of experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

  • Experience in HR Shared Services, call center operations, or HR process delivery.

  • Strong leadership ability with a track record of coaching, developing, and motivating diverse teams.

  • Proactive, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; able to connect with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong customer service focus and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow preferred.
