Approach to inclusion
We have a culture that embraces diversity and fosters inclusion throughout our business and our strategies. Our Employee Resource Groups educate and activate, regularly hosting in-office and virtual events for key moments like Pride Month, Windrush, Juneteenth, and more! Flexible working at tms (USA)
As part of our 2023 re-positioning and re-organization, we re-configured our work environment and infrastructure to embrace hybrid and enable collaboration based on surveys and workshops that enabled employees to share thoughts on how the office should work.
With hybrid working in place, we reduced the number of desks and increased collaboration spaces, including café areas and a wider range of meeting spaces. As part of the refit, we encouraged staff to donate art they have created for display in our meeting suite space, to share the talent from all areas of the business.
Our new Hybrid Work Plan enables tms staff to work from the office or from home, based on their requirement, the work and their team.
Monday-Friday between 9 am-4 pm are what we call core hours — hours people need to be available/online. In other contracted hours that fall outside of that, they can choose to start earlier or finish later. The only caveat is that everybody is online at 9 am on a Monday morning to kick the week off together.
Our Flex Fridays mean people can be flexible on Fridays to accomplish personal tasks, and they don’t need to make up the time to do that. We encourage employees to keep Fridays meeting-free, so they can use the time to focus on work or personal development.
