MDG Finance Technical lead - Master Data

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a talented and driven SAP MDG Technical Lead who possesses a deep understanding of SAP Finance, with relevant functional knowledge in the area deploying finace to either a S4 CFIn solution or a S4 ERP solution. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP technologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Our S4 MDG system is very mature, the ERP is now being moved to S4 and multiple projects with Multiple S4 solutions will need to have data fed, transitioning company structure from existing Legacy SAP structures as well as non SAP structures to a leaner model. Data is an integral part of this effort and management of the domains and project teams need to be number 1 focus for success.

This role is to lead the data element of finance, guide and support data councils to deliver a platform to master finance objects for the future S4 ERP as well as existing CFIN and current ERP solutions.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • - Lead the development and implementation of the Master Data Governance (MDG) solution as part of the S4 Hana ERP rollout. Working across domains and feeding in strategy as well as advise to the project whilst keeping the technical vision of master data across other parallel deployment projects.

    - Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the business to gather requirements, define data standards, and ensure data quality.

    - Provide technical leadership and guidance to the MDG team, and Finance data council, ensuring the successful execution of data management initiatives.

    - Utilize your SAP expertise to design and configure MDG processes to align with business needs.

    - Work with partner resources and potentially manage direct and indirect reports within the MDG team.

    - Act as a Finance subject matter expert in SAP MDG and related technologies, offering insights and recommendations to optimize data management processes.

    - Play a vital role in data delivery for new S4 Hana ERP solutions, ensuring data consistency and integrity.

    - Identify and mitigate risks associated with data management, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

    - Continuously monitor and evaluate the MDM solution's performance, making necessary improvements and adjustments.
