As the Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Centre of Expertise (CoE) continues the delivery of the Mars 2025 I&D Strategy and beyond, being data centric, strongly governed and insight generative is critical. To achieve the strategic Ambitious Goals, we need to ensure that high quality diagnostics and breakthrough insights drive business solutions that can impact in highly collaborative, agile and innovative ways. To enable this ambition, this role will support the I&D CoE Team and extended community to ensure our function is acting in a data and insights driven way. This role will also play a key interface role between the I&D CoE, Data and Analytics, MGS and other CoEs.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a passion for finding insights and driving change through data while also wanting to make a difference in the space of Inclusion and Diversity. This person would need to have:

  • Extensive experience working with complex matrixed data from data management and system development capabilities to strategic diagnostic and insight generation.
  • Education in research, analytics and/or data management desired and if not, proven track record of strong analytical skills and driving change through data.
  • A strong communicator, with attention to detail, able to work across a network of varied stakeholders with confidence.
  • IT Savvy individual with strong skills in Excel or other statistical analysis tools. WorkDay, PowerBI and Qualtrics experience would be a bonus.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Management and development of I&D specific data platforms and sources in partnership with appropriate internal and 3rd party support organisations (i.e. I&D Dashboard, Mars Associate Survey support and reporting)
  • Ownership of critical analysis and reporting to support governance activities, driving timely completion/delivery, continuous improvement, and automation opportunities (i.e. twice-a-year Scorecard, Quarterly Heatmap and annual Leadership reporting)
  • Project Management of data, analytics and research projects initiated within the I&D CoE, including but not limited to, diagnostics for strategic development, new insight generation, ad hoc business partnerships, ad hoc reporting requirements, Inclusion/Associate Experience analysis and reporting.
  • Build I&D CoE knowledge base, capability and capacity for clean reporting and conducting research for insight generation, including the development of robust tools, protocols, external context/developments etc.
  • Partnership with members of the I&D CoE for ad hoc data management, reporting or research requirements.
  • Act as an interface between I&D CoE Data and Analytics and counterpart roles across TCR and MGS.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the I&D Knowledge ecosystem.
