About the Role: LCL Product Leader – Mexico

As part of the Logistics & Services (LNS) organization, you will lead the Less-than-Container Load (LCL) product strategy for Mexico, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. This role is critical to regaining momentum in a product that has historically achieved significant revenue milestones and is now poised for renewed expansion.

You will act as a strategic influencer, aligning multiple stakeholders and guiding commercial teams to deliver on ambitious targets. This is a highly visible position with direct impact on Maersk’s roadmap in Mexico.

Job Description

Product Management is responsible for the strategic planning, marketing, and overall management of a product throughout its lifecycle. This includes:

  • Conducting market research and defining product vision and strategy.
  • Gathering user requirements and creating a product roadmap.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams and managing product launches.
  • Analyzing product performance and ensuring continuous improvement.

Product Managers work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful development, launch, and ongoing management of the product. They guide and coordinate these teams to deliver value to customers and the business.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Define and execute the LCL product strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, HR, and IT.
  • Partner with commercial teams to identify market opportunities and design tailored solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on LCL, ocean freight, and market dynamics in Mexico.
  • Manage a small team (2 direct reports) while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Provide strategic direction without direct sales responsibility, ensuring synergy with commercial teams.
  • Maintain strong market awareness, particularly in Germany, Asia-Pacific, and Brazil, to support global trade flows.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain, with deep knowledge of LCL and ocean freight markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze complex scenarios, prioritize effectively, and drive execution.
  • High maturity, resilience, and ability to work independently while keeping leadership informed.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills; a true team player who thrives in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience managing teams and developing talent.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and delivering results in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
