Strategic CTI Leader to join our Consumer Technical Insights (CTI) team and transform consumer understanding into unforgettable product experiences. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of R&D, Marketing, and Innovation, ensuring that every product, from global brands like Snickers and Skittles to regional favorites such as Turin, Conejos, and Lukas, delivers consistent quality and irresistible experiences to consumers across Mexico and Latin America (LAN). The Strategic CTI Leader is a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring that products are created with excellence, inspired by consumer insight, and driven by innovation. With strong expertise in sensory science, consumer insights, and the FMCG/snacks industry, you will translate data into strategic, consumer-centric solutions that shape the future of our brands and categories across the region.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Psychology, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proven background in FMCG (ideally food/snacks) with strong sensory science and consumer research experience, ideally across Mexico and Latin American markets.
Advanced consumer and sensory research design; Insight synthesis and strategic framing; Clear, persuasive communication; Cross-functional partnership with technical and commercial teams; Stakeholder influencing and decision support; Strong analytical judgement; Ability to navigate ambiguity and shape direction; Creative problem solving; Leadership in project planning and delivery; Capability building and coaching mindset .
What will be your key responsibilities?
Design, lead, and analyse sensory and consumer research to deliver actionable insights that guide product, packaging, and brand innovation across Mexico and Latin America (LAN).
Partner with product developers and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality experiences while enabling innovation, cost optimisation, and responsiveness to market needs.
Guide claims development and validation to strengthen storytelling and demonstrate product superiority.
Anticipate consumer trends, cultural shifts, and market dynamics across Mexico and LAN to inspire future innovation.
Mentor and coach colleagues to build sensory and consumer-centric mindsets and capabilities across the business.
