Job Description

We have a view beyond the ocean: integrating container logistics, connecting, and simplifying our customers' supply chain. We count on our people to make that happen!

Join us as we embark on a digital transformation that will revolutionize the logistics business: you will play a vital role in our success, managing the customer experience and building a successful track in your career.

What do we offer?

We are on a transformative journey to simplify global trade, creating the opportunity to make a real impact — on the world economy, on our customers, and on your career. With significant responsibility, you will deepen your industry expertise, work directly with senior stakeholders, and develop highly valued commercial and leadership capabilities — quite possibly at a pace that will surprise you.

Mexico stands as a manufacturing powerhouse, home to Latin America’s second-largest economy and the United States’ leading trade partner. It is also one of the most significant hubs for foreign direct investment, driven by the nearshoring wave reshaping global supply chains in their quest for greater resilience.

In this role, you will benefit from high visibility across the organization, proximity to our Global Vertical Heads, exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions — making it a strong platform for future regional or global career growth.

Energizing and pioneering, this is also an environment that keeps you motivated. You will join a genuinely diverse and talented team, enthusiastic about delivering for customers, leading through change, and growing together.

Our opportunity

The Head of Vertical – Technology, Energy & FMCG leads one of the most strategic commercial portfolios in the organization. The portfolio represents tens of millions of USD in revenue for our local organization, requiring a proven commercial leader who can drive growth, collaboration, and execution at the highest level.

Given the relevance Mexico owns in the global economy, the role requires proximity to our global vertical heads. This relevance provides visibility across the organization and global leadership opportunities for the right candidate.

The ideal leader brings deep experience in end-to-end logistics, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to inspire a high-performing sales team in a fast-evolving, network-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Technology, Energy, and FMCG verticals, managing a senior commercial team across key regions.

  • Drive sales strategy and business development to accelerate growth and support customer expansion.

  • Build and maintain strong C-level customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

  • We rely a lot on network sales, thus collaboration with our counterparts on the other end is essential — work closely with global and regional teams to deliver unified commercial outcomes.

  • Partner cross-functionally (Product, Operations, Finance) to design and implement end-to-end logistics solutions.

  • We want to understand the end-to-end logistics flows of our customers’ cargo, and we want to offer solutions that help build resilience across their supply chain.

  • Accelerate vertical performance in warehousing and cross-border logistics, two key strategic focus areas.

  • Inspire, coach, and develop a world-class sales organization capable of delivering complex, integrated logistics solutions.

  • Represent the company externally with professionalism and commercial confidence.

  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and performance-driven culture, aligned with company values.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven senior leadership experience in Sales, Business Development, or Vertical Management within logistics or freight forwarding.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to lead complex, multi-market strategies.

  • Expertise in warehousing, distribution, and cross-border logistics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience working in a networked and matrixed environment, collaborating with international commercial counterparts.

  • Inspirational and empathetic leadership style, with the ability to motivate senior teams while driving accountability.

  • High resilience, adaptability, and ability to operate in dynamic environments.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required.

  • Korean, Japanese, or Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.

Success in the Role
Success is defined by revenue growth, customer expansion, and the development of a world-class sales organization capable of delivering complex, end-to-end solutions.

Travel Expectations

National and International travel is expected, based on customer needs and alignment activities with global stakeholders.
