The Role

As a Senior People Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role by overseeing all aspects of people operation services and initiatives. Your responsibilities will span from employee onboarding to offboarding, with a focus on maintaining a fair and inclusive work environment and optimizing people processes for operational efficiency. This position requires a deep understanding of global people practices, employee engagement, and enhancing the employee experience to ensure that LucaNet remains innovative, forward-thinking, and equipped to attract and retain top talent. In addition to the above, you will also act as a People Lead for our great People Operations Team, serving as sparringspartner for our Head of People Operations.

What you'll do

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering a strong relationship and addressing any matters or grievances with timeliness and empathy.
  • Support each team member within the People Ops team with their individual career development and training needs, and ensure they have the tools and resources required to excel.
  • Develop and implement People policies and procedures that align with our company's goals and values, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations in all relevant countries.
  • Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of People data management systems, including employee records and HR metrics reporting.
  • Serve as a strategic sparring partner, advising on post-merger integration topics, such as organizational structure, employee integration, and cultural alignment during company transitions.
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to optimize operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance and IT, to ensure HR processes and systems are optimized, integrated and effectively to support the overall business strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in HR, and bring innovative ideas to the table to continuously improve our HR service offerings and initiatives.
  • Work remotely and/or at one of our locations in Germany.

What you bring to the table

  • A degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a mentoring or managerial role within a People Operations or HR department is a plus.
  • Experience in successfully navigating People Operations in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ideally in a global scale-up or high-growth environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple countries.
  • Proven experience in managing HR service initiatives, from conception to implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and processes, including HRMS and ATS.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English and German.
