Salary: up to £55K pro rata basic and share options Part time: 3 days a week Location: UK remote, with some travel to London HQ About Instant Impact We’re Instant Impact, the in-house recruitment experts. About the role As our Management Accountant you'll take charge of our daily financial operations, budgeting, and reporting, working hand-in-hand with our Finance Director and team leaders to shape our business strategy and keep costs in check. As our second permanent finance hire you will play a key role in bringing essential finance processes in-house, boosting control, and driving automation as we grow.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)

Day-to-day Financial Management: Join us in streamlining processes and diving into essential tasks.

• Manage bookkeeping and credit control.
• Standardize and automate invoicing for scalability.

Financial Reporting: Deliver timely financial insights and reports.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Support Year End and Statutory Accounting.

Financial Planning & Analysis: Shape our financial strategy with budgets and forecasts.

• Analize data to inform business decisions.

Business Partnering & Continual Improvement: Lead our Share Options scheme and enhance efficiency.

• Optimize finance operations and support wider projects.

Cost, Risk & Cash Flow Management: Ensure compliance and maintain financial health.

• Monitor cash flow and recommend liquidity strategies.

What we need from you

• Enthusiasm for collaborating with senior stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
• Eagerness to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving business change and influencing people with ease.
• Outstanding skills in financial and data analysis, along with top-notch problem-solving abilities.
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in financial processes.
• Experience using Xero - preferred but not essential.
• Solid grasp of UK financial regulations and compliance, with the curiosity and capability to learn about other regions.
• A positive attitude – you embrace change, tackle big challenges with enthusiasm, and are ready to dive into any project, no matter the size.
