Job title: Assistant Project Accountant

Salary: £37,263
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting project reviews through the delivery of monthly Summary Status Reports, Contract Status Reports, trading plans and Monthly Management Report inputs (Orders, Sales, Margin, Cash) across a number of projects, ensuring all outputs are robustly challenged with the project teams
- Support and delivery of critical monthly governance activities such as Monthly Management Reports to Contract Status Report, Orderbook, and Negative WIP Reconciliations, while developing opportunities for the strengthening of the governances inputs
- Provide Support to the Phased Budgeting and Integrated Business Planning Process
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Good interpersonal skills are essential as this role requires a lot of interaction with Project teams and teams outside of finance
- Qualified or working toward finance qualification
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office
- Data management
Desirable:
- SAP experience

The Project Finance team:
As an Assistant Project Accountant you will be developing strong working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders and become a key point of contact from a finance perspective. Project Accounting Support for a variety of contracts, working closely with the Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) offering financial support and guidance. You will be delivering accurate and consistent project reporting information to meet the needs of the project team and finance management including the preparation of the CSR, SSR and related trading plans. Monitor and forecast financial and cash performance, providing independent and robust financial challenge. Supporting annual Integrated Business Planning process (IBP). Working with SMEs to help embed the new SAP S4 system, contribute to the Project Finance Capability Centre improvement initiatives.
