The Opportunity:

  • Our Mission:To become the most respected global digital product consultancy by digitally crafting a better world.

  • Your Mission: To drive hedgehog lab’s engagement within the public sector by fostering strong partnerships, expanding framework opportunities, and leading bid and tender processes to secure new business.

  • Aims:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key Prime suppliers in the public sector.
    • Expand hedgehog lab’s presence on public sector frameworks.
    • Generate approximately £4 million in annual revenue from public sector opportunities.
    • Influence procurement discussions and position hedgehog lab as a leading supplier.
  • Measure of success:
    • Achievement of revenue targets (~£4 million annually).
    • Increased number of secured public sector frameworks.
    • Successful, high-quality bid submissions and tender wins.
    • Strengthened relationships with government bodies and procurement teams.
  • Day to day:
    • Manage and develop relationships with Prime suppliers.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to produce competitive bids and proposals.
    • Identify and pursue new public sector opportunities.
    • Engage with government stakeholders and industry partners.
    • Stay updated on public sector procurement trends and policies.
  • Growth/Development opportunities:
    • Influence strategic growth within hedgehog lab.
    • Deepen expertise in public sector procurement and digital transformation.
    • Play a pivotal role in shaping hedgehog lab’s public sector strategy.


About you:

  • Strong understanding of UK public sector procurement frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, DOS).
  • Proven experience in partnership management within public sector contexts.
  • Skilled in bid writing, tender management, and proposal development.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on commercial growth and revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align and engage diverse stakeholders.

Our interview process:

Stage 1️⃣ - Intro call with a member of the Talent team (30 mins Google Meet)

Stage 2️⃣ - Culture interview with our CEO, Sarat and our CDO, Ray (45 mins Google Meet)

Stage 3️⃣ - Final interview and presentation with our Managing Director, Malcolm and CEO, Sarat (60 minute)
