Job Description

📍 Location: London Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office, 3 remote/WFH

ABOUT THE ROLE

Goodlord’s mission is to be the gold standard platform for renting, and we’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help us get there.

Reporting directly to our Head of Demand Generation, this is a role with genuine ownership and visibility. You’ll own and drive our demand generation engine - helping us attract, engage and convert the right customers while directly influencing pipeline and business growth.

This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a playbook and simply maintain it. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building, experimenting and improving. Someone who gets excited about turning ideas into measurable commercial outcomes.

We’re at an exciting stage in our growth journey and this role sits right at the heart of it. You’ll have a short line to senior stakeholders, real autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how we approach demand generation as we continue to scale.

No two days are ever quite the same at Goodlord (which is part of the fun!). Priorities can shift and you’ll need to be comfortable navigating that, but we’ll support you every step of the way.

Day-to-day you'll be:

  • Planning and executing full-funnel demand generation campaigns across paid, email and content channels

  • Owning campaign delivery end-to-end - from briefing and build through to reporting and optimisation

  • Writing compelling, audience-focused copy across emails, ads and landing pages

  • Managing and optimising HubSpot workflows to improve targeting, nurture journeys and lead quality

  • Working closely with Sales to ensure every stage of the funnel is measured, understood and optimised

  • Building and launching new demand generation initiatives as we continue to scale

  • Owning your numbers -pipeline contribution, conversion rates, CAC -and understanding what’s working, why, and where to optimise
Leveraging AI tools to create internal efficiencies and improve go-to-market activity

ABOUT YOU

You don’t need a specific number of years behind you, we care much more about what you've actually done.

You’ll likely be someone who:

  • Has independently built and delivered demand generation campaigns with measurable commercial impact

  • Has experience experimenting across multiple channels, both digital and offline

  • Writes well - strong, audience-aware copy is a core part of this role, not an afterthought

  • Understands marketing automation (HubSpot ideally, Salesforce a bonus) and uses data to make decisions

  • Enjoys building things from scratch rather than simply maintaining what already exists

  • Works effectively with Sales and understands the connection between marketing activity and revenue outcomes

  • Is comfortable moving quickly, testing ideas and adapting based on results and learnings

ABOUT US

At Goodlord, our brand is built on a simple belief: renting should be effortless.

We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simpler and more transparent for everyone involved - agents, landlords and tenants. We knew changing customer expectations would require a smarter, more digital experience and we were confident we could build it.

Like all scale-ups, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we're now stronger than ever, with:

3,500+ letting agents using our platform
300+ Goodlordians supporting the mission
Exciting and varied product lines with ambitious growth plans

Our mission is clear: to become the gold standard platform for renting.

We know achieving that starts with our people, which is why we’ve worked hard to build a culture where people genuinely enjoy coming to work and can do their best work.

Over the years we've been recognised as:

  • Great Place to Work Certified (multiple years)

  • UK Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing, Development and Women

  • UK Best Workplaces™ in Tech

  • Deloitte Technology Fast 50

These matter to us not because they’re shiny badges, but because they reflect something more important - a durable, people-first culture that we've built together and continue to invest in.

Our values guide our decisions, the way we work and the people we bring into the business. We work hard, support one another, challenge ourselves and genuinely enjoy what we do.

Why you'll love being a Goodlordian

Aside from the role, the people, our culture and our mission, we have some other things that make Goodlord a pretty awesome place to be. Here’s a few favourites amongst Goodlordians (check out our careers page for more info).

  • Your well-being matters: bi-weekly coaching with Sanctus to provide Goodlordians with a safe place to talk and support your mental health

  • 25 days holiday (plus UK Bank holidays) plus 1 day per full holiday year up to 32 days: We believe regular breaks are essential for well-being and we encourage (some may say expect!) all Goodlordians to take full advantage of their annual leave entitlement.

  • Supporting your family: we offer Goodlordians of all genders a generous 3 months of fully-paid time off to look after their new arrivals

  • Our team: we’re an energetic, sociable, and talented bunch who are super passionate about what we do and determined to make a difference. We’re all in it together, we learn from each other, we’re genuine and we don’t have time for politics
