We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer to join our London team. In this role, you’ll help us find and engage the engineers who design, build, and scale the products that power Deliveroo, from our mobile apps to the complex systems behind every order.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Engineering Recruiting team. You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, iOS, and Android teams to build diverse, high-quality pipelines and create brilliant candidate experiences from the very first outreach.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Drive high-impact sourcing strategies by proactively identifying and engaging top-tier engineering talent using creative methods beyond standard platforms.

• Build diverse talent pipelines for current and future needs, ensuring our top-of-funnel activity reflects our commitment to representation and inclusion.

• Act as a strategic partner to recruiters and hiring managers, sharing market insights and data to help define "what great looks like" for every role.

• Craft authentic, personalised outreach that tells the Deliveroo story, ensuring every candidate interaction is human, engaging, and reflects our brand values.

• Optimise the candidate journey by using data to track engagement and identify opportunities to improve our sourcing efficiency and interview conversion.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

• Significant experience in technical sourcing, ideally within a fast-paced in-house tech organisation or a specialist recruitment agency.

• Proven ability to engage passive talent across platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and niche coding communities using advanced search techniques.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring managers and collaborate effectively within a recruitment team.

• A data-driven approach to sourcing, with a commitment to tracking metrics that improve pipeline health and hiring outcomes.

• A deep commitment to DE&I, with a track record of identifying and engaging talent from underrepresented backgrounds to build inclusive teams.
