Job Description

Job Title: Candidate Sourcing & Screening Specialist
Location: Newcastle - Remote
Languages: French or Spanish & English

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Candidate Sourcing & Screening Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, attracting, and evaluating top talent to meet our hiring needs. You will collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing Candidates:

    • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and internal databases, to identify potential candidates.

    • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent pools.

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs

  • Screening Candidates:

    • Conduct initial resume reviews to assess candidates' qualifications and alignment with job requirements.

    • Perform phone or video screenings to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

    • Provide detailed candidate summaries and recommendations to recruiters and hiring managers.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate profiles.

    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates throughout the sourcing and screening process.

    • Act as a brand ambassador to promote the company’s values and culture to potential candidates.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

    • Generate reports and metrics to track sourcing and screening effectiveness.

    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the recruitment process.

Qualifications:

  • French or Spanish language capabilities at C1 +

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in talent sourcing and screening, ideally within a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing methods.

  • Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition (e.g., LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter).

  • Understanding of industry-specific hiring trends and challenges.
