An opportunity to play your part
The IAM (Identity and Access Management) Security Architect plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the company's identity and access management solutions. You will help define, enhance, and implement Centrica’s information security architectures, while ensuring consistent administration of information security policies, standards, procedures, and controls to effectively improve security posture. You will work alongside Solution Architects, to provide input into High-Level Designs and Low-Level Designs.
Location: We have a hybrid-work environment, where you will be predominantly home-based but required to work from Windsor and/or London one to two times a month.

Responsibilities
Design and deploy robust IAM solutions, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft's suite of security tools
Regularly review and refine IAM policies to ensure they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards
Lead and manage IAM projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the set specifications
Collaborate with IT and security teams to seamlessly integrate IAM solutions into the existing infrastructure
Monitor and respond to any security breaches or irregularities within the IAM systems
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
What we need from you:
Experience working in architecting and designing information security solutions
A minimum of 5 years of experience in identity security, with specific expertise in Microsoft's Entra ID/Azure AD solutions inc. Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Manager, and Governance
Proven track record of designing and implementing IAM solutions in large multinational organisations, preferably within the energy sector
Proficient in cybersecurity best practices and threat mitigation strategies
Education: Although a bachelor’s degree in area(s) of study such as information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field is preferred, this is by no means a mandatory requirement and all relevant work experience will be considered
