  • Locations: Leicester, Leeds or Stockport

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage planning and scheduling of learning activities in Centrica including: License to work training for engineers, contact centre & apprenticeships

  • Support effective management and allocation of resources, using defined processes, tracking and reporting

  • Maintain and update vital employee information to individual work records using internal and external databases, including the company systems

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to plan and report on learning activities

  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and is compliant, including meeting our regulatory obligations

  • Support operations supervisor with government funding eligibility checks and ILR submissions

  • Responding to gaps identified in team audits, continually looking at ways to improve our processes and ensure adherence to assurance guidelines

  • Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate

Work Experience:

  • Knowledge of HR operations, processes and systems

  • Strong communication, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills

  • Demonstrable experience of juggling multiple priorities, following processes and managing situations proactively

  • Previous experience operating within a process and administration environment, ideally within L&D desirable

  • Previous experience of working in planning and resourcing advantageous

  • Experience of recommending and implementing process improvements

  • A proven track record in delivering excellent customer or colleague experience

  • Ability to multi-task, dealing with multiple complex cases and activities concurrently

  • Technically competent in using Microsoft Office – with advanced skillset in Excel

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Good creative skills and proactive in making suggestions for improvement

  • Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines without impacting accuracy

  • Pro-active and self-motivated with an appetite to learn

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

  • A collaborative and skilful team player, confident in dealing with ambiguity

  • Strong stakeholder management and able to have difficult but effective conversations

  • Ability to operate in a fast paced and highly technical and entrepreneurial environment

  • A critical thinker with matrix mindset
