Job Description

We’re on a mission to provide equitable access to economic opportunity, for everyone.

We close critical skill gaps in the workforce through a new kind of apprenticeship that combines work and learning. We begin by recognizing high-potential individuals both inside and outside of a company's current workforce and then we create applied, guided and equitable learning programs, with measurable impact. Because we believe the world needs a better way to match its potential.

We work with over 1,500 leading companies including the likes of Microsoft, Citi and Just Eat to help solve their business-critical problems, and we’ve trained over 16,000 professional apprentices in the tech and data skills of the future. This is made possible by our global team who are driven to achieve a mission that matters, together.

Join Multiverse and help us set a new course for work.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Associate to join our Certification Operations team. Certification Operations are responsible for overseeing Multiverse’s external assessment and certification processes, ensuring that apprentices receive the credentials needed to validate the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout their apprenticeship.

This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of key stages of the apprentice journey, executing business-critical operational tasks, and working with important stakeholders across the company. This role will have a particular focus on the operational and certification processes that underpin assessments within our degree apprenticeship programmes, though you will also learn about and work across a wide range of operational tasks.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities and maintaining very good attention to detail. Success in the role includes completing work within specified timelines, working with a high degree of accuracy and communicating effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Become the operational lead for, and team expert in, the degree operations process. This involves preparing and processing key data and documentation to support learners’ progression through their degree apprenticeship, guiding learners, resolving issues and consulting and updating internal knowledge resources

  • Responsible for preparing all key learner and assessment information for each Board of Examiners meeting, carrying out quality checks and ensuring grades for hundreds of learners are reviewed and approved smoothly

  • Execute the operational processes underpinning the End Point Assessment when apprentices complete their degree programme, including collating and reviewing documentation, liaising with learners and assessors to schedule activities and issuing transcripts and certificates

  • Collaborate with teams including Delivery, Quality and Data & Insight to ensure that cross-functional tasks are well planned, communicated and coordinated, ensuring a seamless journey and experience for apprentices

  • Support on the execution of a range of other business-critical operational tasks. These could include processing and reviewing apprentice end-point assessment materials, processing exam bookings and results, quality assurance activities and resolving issues for learners

  • Assist the Operations Manager with ad hoc reports, special projects and strategic initiatives as required

About You

  • Outstanding attention to detail and problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent prioritisation and time management

  • Passionate about processes and getting tasks done

  • Strong team player

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Previous experience of working in a time sensitive operations team
