Our Solutions Architects build relationships across all levels of an organisation and help solve our customer’s complex challenges by creating innovative business and/or digital enterprise solutions. As one of our Solutions Architects you’ll be there to be a trusted advisor to our customers, often working and driving value on large transformation programmes. You’ll be helping our customers achieve their vision and solve their complex technological challenges by creating innovative digital solutions.

London, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Gosforth, Belfast, Glasgow

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll lead on building the right solution for customers from customer requirements.
  • You’ll have commercial acumen that ensures proposed solutions align with Win Price.
  • You’ll ensure risks and gaps of the solution are highlighted, with appropriate containment, and reported on through governance processes.
  • You’ll create innovative solutions to solve our customer’s complex technological challenges.
  • You’ll educate BT and our customer to ensure the solution fits customer requirements.
  • You’ll provide end-to-end technological architecture governance, leadership, accountability and ownership throughout the Solutions Design engagement life-cycle.
  • You’ll lead successful bids through the delivery lifecycle – matrix; managing the right skills needed to deliver.
  • You’ll develop and manage customer relationships which deliver a unique outstanding customer experience.
  • You’ll define and create statement of requirements for internal/external Professional Services engagement.

What we would like to see from you

  • Strong technical background across Network Architecture layers and a broad and recognised set of knowledge across the full spectrum of Solutions Architecture, including things like: Network Transformation & Security, Digital Solutions, Cloud Transformation and Technology architecture tools and techniques.
  • Creating technological solution propositions and bid proposals from customer requirements.
  • Proven background in developing a pipeline in relation to enterprise and business architecture engagements for customers.
  • Developing and delivering strategic roadmaps and governance structures in line with Customer Requirements.
  • Communicating and Influencing across all levels of an organisation up to CxO level.
  • Knowledge of business analysis/architecture tools and techniques, as well as knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent method awareness and real world experience Leadership and Management
  • Strong problem definition and solving abilities
  • Ability to obtain National Security Vetting Clearance
