Job title: Senior System Design Authority

Salary: £85,000+ with executive benefits package, including car allowance, private medical insurance, and bonus

What you’ll be doing:

  • Direct development of enterprise-wide architecture and processes which ensure that the application of digital change is embedded in the management of the organisation
  • You will be communicating the organisation’s digital management strategy, developing it as an integrated part of the functional areas
  • Support the management provision of digital consultancy services, and management of a team of senior architects
  • Ensure that the organisation’s business processes, and information are correctly captured considering any relevant statutory, internal, or external regulations
  • Engages with business and maintains business relationships. Shapes and agrees business solution requirements and manages completion and disengagement
  • Supervises specialist application/technical consultancy. The specialism can be any aspect of digital, information or communication technology, architecture, technique, method, and product or application area
  • Contributes to the selection and development of appropriate Solution Development and Design methods, tools and techniques
  • Assists the business in defining their systems capability requirements and to advise on matters affecting technical standards, policies, and information. Works with Head of Architecture Management Office to direct teams to deliver emerging technologies, systems, and solutions

Your skills and experiences:

  • Relevant IT degree or business degree, experience in consultancy or people management position
  • Significant experience of working in an IT Function and relevant field
  • A good level of experience in the delivery of key projects in a couple if not all the solution definition design and delivery IM&T skill sets
  • Significant experience of managing within an IT Function and relevant field
  • Some people management
  • Strong architectural background
