Job Description

Join our IT Architecture department as a Senior Solution Architect at TUI Musement. As a key player in the architecture team, you will provide expertise within various teams in a designated domain. Collaborating closely with Product Teams and fellow Solution Architects, Architect Team Leads, and Principal Architects, you will play a pivotal role in the design of architecture to ensure successful business outcomes in your area.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) within assigned teams to shape technology and transformation strategies for TUI Musement.
  • Support the Architecture Department in defining and proposing architectural standards, policies, and practices that align with TUI's technology strategy.
  • Drive architectural enhancements within agile teams, ensuring alignment with industry trends and best practices.
  • Play a critical role in cross-domain initiatives by working alongside other Solution Architects to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous learning, enhancing architectural competencies across teams.
  • Advocate for security by design, embedding it as a core principle in every architectural decision at TUI.

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring substantial experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures, leveraging domain-driven and event-driven designs.
  • You possess a deep understanding of complex integration challenges, with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions for both internal and external systems.
  • You are passionate about innovative technology environments and thrive in a skilled team where each day presents new opportunities to contribute.
  • Your deep knowledge of current requirements and broader strategic goals ensures your architectural solutions align seamlessly with TUI's vision and objectives.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, the Spring Framework, and familiarity with front-end technologies. You have experience demonstrating excellence in algorithms, data structures, and various architectures.
  • Your experience includes crafting adaptable architectural blueprints and thriving in an API-driven ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on API design and development.
  • You are skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and holding an AWS certification would be a significant advantage.
  • You excel in cross-functional collaboration and are experienced in aligning technical strategies with business objectives, adept at engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders to foster cohesive decision-making.
