Finance Business Partner, Customer Services and Field (London or Birmingham)

If these attributes describe you, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Finance Business Partner, Ccustomer Services and Field. This position can be based in London, Bristol, or Birmingham, with additional travel as necessary.

Within our Business, the Service team serves customers through a dedicated function that looks after them during the life of their contract. Our goal is to establish Business as easy to do business with, providing great service that retains existing customers and attracts new ones. As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll provide financial direction to the operational teams you support, ensuring the delivery of demanding financial performance. Specifically, you’ll partner with the Service Leadership Team for the assigned units, each of which has critical business objectives.

These areas require strong financial partnership to support their transformation journey and ensure robust and accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

You'll have the following responsibilities

Delivering financial and commercial support to key stakeholders, driving optimal business decisions and improving financial and commercial performance.

Managing stakeholders and engaging in business partnerships across each of your areas to enhance performance and achieve the Medium-Term Plan (MTP) objectives.

Providing robust and insightful analysis to the Service Profit and Loss (P&L) owners, the Service Financial Controller (FC), and CPS/SMB Finance Directors regarding unit performance, including Cost to Serve product analysis.

Ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial results for each area and communicating effectively with P&L owners within the Business.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders to create the MTP, ensuring well-supported target setting.

Regularly assessing risks and opportunities through outlooks, working closely with stakeholders to address any gaps.

You'll have the following skills & experience

Fully qualified accountant or further qualification to support a specialism (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, ACT, CTA, MCT, IR Society Certificate, or equivalent). Alternatively, exceptionally equivalent experience.

Desirable experience across a wide range of finance disciplines.

Experience working across borders with shared services.

Experience managing and influencing peers.

Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insights to inform judgements.
