Job description
This is a 9 month Fixed-Term Contract.
About the role
We’re looking for a creative, naturally curious and proactive Content Design Professional to help bring the people, teams and work across BT Group to life. Working within Talent Attraction, you’ll create engaging employer-brand content that showcases what it’s really like to work at BT across our Life at BT channels, careers site and recruitment campaigns.
This is a hands-on creative role where you’ll seek out interesting stories from across the business, interview colleagues and capture high-quality video and photography before taking that content through editing and final delivery. You’ll have the creative freedom to uncover authentic stories yourself, while also contributing to larger recruitment campaigns and business-led projects.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Talent Acquisition, Brand, Communications, Inclusion and Belonging networks and the wider business, building relationships that help you find great stories and bring them to life. The role suits someone comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment, managing changing priorities and travelling to different BT locations to capture content when needed.
What you’ll be doing
Identifying interesting people, teams and stories from across BT Group and turning them into engaging employer-brand content.
Filming, photographing, interviewing and directing colleagues to capture natural and authentic content.
Editing and assembling video, photography, motion graphics and other creative assets for internal and external channels.
Adding subtitles and other accessibility features to ensure content is inclusive and accessible.
Supporting recruitment and employer-brand campaigns, including activity involving teams and audiences in the UK and internationally.
Creating and maintaining content for the BT careers site and Life at BT channels.
Developing and maintaining content banks for immediate and future campaign use.
Creating digital and physical collateral for recruitment events and campaigns.
Working with Talent Acquisition, Brand, Communications, internal networks and business teams to identify content opportunities.
Managing content requests and projects from initial idea through to final delivery, often working to changing priorities and timelines.
Essential Skills / Experience
Demonstrable experience filming, photographing and editing engaging content using video-editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Strong storytelling and interviewing skills, with the ability to turn ideas and conversations into engaging content.
Strong understanding of brand, with the confidence to work independently, build relationships and manage changing priorities.
Desirable Skills / Experience
Experience using mirrorless cameras, particularly Sony ZV-E10 cameras or similar equipment.
Knowledge of microphones, audio-recording equipment, lighting and content-production workflows.
Experience using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience creating content for social media, careers channels or employer-brand campaigns.
Experience editing and maintaining careers sites or other content-management systems.
An understanding of candidate journeys, recruitment marketing or Talent Acquisition.
Experience using recruitment data and funnel metrics to help shape content and campaign activity.
