Job Title: International Payroll Administrator

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and validate monthly payroll/shadow payroll input data, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission to providers
  • Collaborate with third-party payroll vendors to process payrolls in accordance with local laws and company timelines
  • Prepare and reconcile pension cash sheets, ensuring timely submission to pension providers and alignment with statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end payroll activities, including reconciliations and reporting
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll documentation and explanations
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, efficiency, and documentation
  • Document (create/edit work instructions) for any new payrolls, pensions or year-end processes

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, and formula-based reporting (especially for pension and funding reconciliations)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work across time zones with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential data

Desirable:

  • Experience of Shadow Payrolls
  • Understanding of international payroll principles, tax compliance, and statutory reporting

The International Payroll team:

International Payroll is a small team, which is part of the wider Pay & Reward team within Shared Services. We process payrolls/shadow payrolls pensions and applicable deductions for employees in international locations. These can be either a home-based role or as part of a long- or short-term international assignment, they are processed in multiple currencies. A critical service that pays our colleagues around the world, in line with local legislation & tax requirements.
