Job Description

Job title: Business Operations

Location: Qatar-Doha

Salary: 120,000 QAR + depending on experience plus Nature Of Work Allowance

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the planning, facilitation, and delivery of Qatar reviews and reporting, including end-to-end accountability for information review pack
  • Co-ordinate the Business Continuity Management plans on behalf of Qatar Programme
  • Lead Life Cycle Management implementation, embedding awareness across all reviews and driving appropriate action management
  • Lead Information Retention and Management activities, with full accountability for RDRM infrastructure
  • Qatar Policy & Procedural Management and Coordination of the Business Management System

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Demonstrated comprehensive Project Management experience within a business or Projects, Programmes, or Portfolios, including the application of PM methodologies, toolsets, and data management practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of the project’s business environment and multiple business areas, including Line of Business structures, processes, and culture, enabling the effective application of appropriate Project Management approaches
  • Good understanding of the process to review and agree the programme performance and contract reviews
  • Good understanding of Business Continuity Management

Desirable

  • Previous experience of internal audits and governance management

The Business Operations Team

The Business Operations & Governance Lead supports the effective operation, governance, and reporting of the Qatar Programme. Working closely with delivery and functional teams, the role helps ensure reporting requirements are clearly understood and that review and governance structures are appropriate, consistent, and effective.

The role supports the Business Operations & Integration Manager with programme-level reporting and contributes to maintaining the Business Management System, ensuring governance policies and procedures remain current. It includes regular engagement with senior stakeholders, offering exposure to senior-level discussions and supporting the development of a wider professional network.

This is a newly created role within an established Operational Excellence team. It offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team environment, with involvement across governance, assurance, data, and information management activities. The role also provides scope to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and to help shape how the position develops over time.
