Treasury Analyst
Circa £44,500 dependent on skills and experience
Permanent, full time (37 hours) with flexibility for part time

Working as part of the Finance and Regulation team, the key responsibility of the Treasury Analyst is to ensure the smooth running of the daily cash and dealing process, acting as a key touchpoint for stakeholders around the business. This role will also liaise with senior bank mandated approvers to process payments and provide control and oversight of all transactions passing through group bank accounts.
Key responsibilities
Maintain the systems, processes and controls that underpin the bank account structure and daily cash process
Monitor financial counterparty risks, reporting as required and escalating any concerns
Perform daily cash reconciliations in the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring balances align with bank statements uploaded to the system
Prepare, validate, and circulate daily cash dealing positions in coordination with Front Office teams and the Cash Manager to ensure treasury dealing is executed as approved
Upload and monitor BACS payment files via the third party gateway
Set up and monitor intercompany recharges and dividend payments, including tax, payroll, and healthcare-related recharges
Respond to internal and external audit queries relating to payments, cash management, and treasury controls
Support with annual reviews and updates of treasury policies and appendices

What does it take to be successful?
Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
Excellent IT skills and willingness to learn about new systems
Able to effectively communicate Treasury information to non-Treasury senior managers
Able to work to tight deadlines and ensure time critical tasks are completed
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills
Confident in dealing with external stakeholders
