What to Expect

As a Generative Image Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in creating new innovative software solutions that help generate and manipulate images for use in marketing and retail content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and understand marketing, merchandiser, and SEO analyst personas to identify their needs using AI-generated images.
  • Develop and optimise high-quality pipelines for various image generation and manipulation use cases.
  • Conduct rigorous testing both manually and using automated tools to evaluate the effectiveness of pipelines.
  • Train and evaluate LoRAs/fine-tunes to improve the quality of outputs.
  • Research state-of-the-art techniques for applying generative image models to improve quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Document and communicate research findings, methodologies, and technical specifications to team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into specifications.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • A passion for AI and Image Generation with an excellent conceptual understanding of how AI technologies work and how they can be manipulated.
  • Strong experience using StableDiffusion and related tools such as AUTOMATIC1111/ComfyUI to create pipelines that generate high-quality images.
  • Experience training and evaluating LoRA and/or fine-tunes to improve the quality of outputs.
  • Using advanced techniques such as ControlNets, inpainting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, and creativity.
  • Analytical thinking and data analysis skills to robustness and evaluate results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a technical role or equivalent skillset.
