Product Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join Veygo’s Growth product area.
You’ll own defined parts of the acquisition and onboarding experience, helping customers discover the right product, complete their journey and reach value quickly. Working within the wider Growth strategy, you’ll be responsible for progressing customer and business problems from insight through to delivery and measurable outcomes.
We’re looking for someone commercially minded, curious and confident working with data, stakeholders and customer insight. You’ll need to be comfortable combining discovery, analysis and delivery: understanding product performance and customer behaviour, identifying opportunities, prioritising work and partnering with a cross-functional team to improve customer and commercial outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to Veygo’s Growth strategy and own the discovery, delivery and performance of agreed customer journeys across acquisition, onboarding, activation and expansion.
- Own defined parts of the journey from initial customer intent through to onboarding, making it easier for customers to discover the right product and reach value quickly.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve conversion, customer acquisition efficiency, customer experience and lifetime value.
- Frame customer and business problems, define hypotheses and requirements, and maintain a clear, prioritised backlog with Design and Engineering.
- Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Pricing, Underwriting and other stakeholders from discovery through delivery and iteration.
- Use data, customer insight, research and experimentation to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
- Monitor agreed product metrics to understand journey performance, identify opportunities and measure the impact of changes after launch.
- Plan and support experiments that test assumptions, build understanding and improve customer and commercial outcomes.
- Communicate progress, learning, recommendations and trade-offs clearly through written updates, product thinking and analysis.
- Surface material risks, dependencies and trade-offs to the Growth product lead, with clear evidence and recommendations.
- Ensure product decisions support good customer outcomes, fair value and relevant regulatory expectations.
You’ll likely thrive here if you:
- Enjoy taking ownership of customer problems and improving digital journeys.
- Are curious about customer behaviour and what helps people move from intent to action.
- Use data, insight and product performance to understand what is working and where to focus next.
- Can move comfortably between discovery, analysis, prioritisation and delivery.
- Balance customer needs, commercial goals, technical constraints and regulatory considerations.
- Work well with Product, Design, Engineering, Pricing, Underwriting and other stakeholders.
- Create clarity around priorities, decisions, risks and trade-offs.
- Know when to make progress independently and when to escalate risks or dependencies.
- Are keen to keep developing your product judgement in a fast-moving environment.
What we’re looking for:
Essential skills and experience
- Experience working as a Product Manager, an Associate Product Manager ready to take on greater ownership, or in a comparable digital product role.
- Evidence of independently progressing customer or business problems from insight and discovery through to delivery and measurement.
- Experience improving customer journeys across web, mobile or app-based products.
- Confidence working with data, product metrics, performance information and customer insight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, evaluate options and recognise risks.
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how product experience influences customer behaviour and business performance.
- Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering and commercial stakeholders.
- Ability to turn problems and opportunities into clear hypotheses, requirements and prioritised work.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain momentum and surface dependencies at the right time.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to work independently within a defined area, ask good questions and make progress through ambiguity.
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience working on acquisition, onboarding, conversion, activation, retention or upsell journeys.
- Experience with A/B testing, funnel optimisation, experimentation or customer behaviour analysis.
- Experience working on consumer digital products, particularly for younger audiences.
- Experience in insurance, fintech, mobility, digital services or another regulated consumer environment.
- Experience partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, Marketing or other commercial teams.
- Experience using modern AI and product development tools to improve the quality and speed of product work.

Now, we’re evolving from short-term cover into a brand that supports young drivers through their first years on the road - helping them build safer habits, manage costs and move forward with confidence.
Backed by Admiral Group, we combine scale-up energy with the strength, trust and expertise of one of the UK’s leading insurers. Our teams get the freedom to experiment, the ownership to make things happen and the platform to build products that reach millions.
If you want to solve real customer problems, work with smart cross-functional teams and help shape the future of insurance for young drivers, you’ll fit right in.
