How you'll contribute to Accurx as our Business Development Lead (SME Lead)

To achieve our vision - everyone involved in a patient’s care is able to communicate with each other - we need to continue to expand our contracts through upselling in Primary Care, as well as secure new customers in Secondary Care. Accurx is widely-used across GP practices in England, but we are very early in our journey of being used by Community Services. At a time when the health service is struggling with unprecedented demand and pressure, we believe improving communication can help improve efficiency, improve patient and staff experience, and improve outcomes.

We are hiring for a Business Development Lead to lead our Small-to-Medium Enterprise sales team in order to drive new ARR with both GP practices and Community Services. The team is made up of SDRs and AEs responsible for driving and closing new opportunities respectively.

  • Inspire commercial growth in the team by uncovering impactful opportunities that drive business growth and deliver value to healthcare organisations through market insights, strategic prospecting, and transformative partnerships.
  • Scope opportunities, mitigate risks, and craft clear, actionable strategies while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver results.
  • Drive team success with tailored coaching, feedback, and professional development, fostering a culture of continuous growth and achievement.
  • Optimise sales excellence leading the sales process with proactive strategies, creative solutions, and customer-aligned approaches to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Cultivate trust and strong relationships with customers, partners, and peers while fostering collaboration across the organisation to fuel growth.
  • Align Accurx’s offerings with customer challenges to create long-term value, strengthening partnerships and driving success.
  • Support negotiations with integrity, empowering teams to secure sustainable agreements that position Accurx as a trusted, essential partner.

  • You have proven experience in managing, hiring and resourcing high performers

Salary & Benefits:

💰£70,000 - £85,000 salary + the value of £50,750 share options*
