As a Technology Delivery Lead, you will:
- Take overall accountability of technology delivery of programmes (from $500k to $30m)
- Manage the day to day delivery of high-quality technology transformation work, delivering solutions for our clients on-time and on-budget using a variety of delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall
- Manage technology delivery of projects with small collocated Scrum teams to large programmes using scaled Agile approach across multiple locations
- Manage multi-functional and geographically diverse teams running the end to end technical delivery across the entire lifecycle
- Clearly communicate delivery approaches and decisions to others and take responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered successfully
- Engage and become a trusted advisor to our clients and manage senior client stakeholders in technology and business space
- Manage financial health of the technology delivery
- Define ways of working and delivery methodologies based on specific customer needs
- Support, coach your team’s personal growth
- Develop and enhance relationships with clients to identify opportunities where Accenture’s solutions can bring further innovation and value to meet their needs
- Build and develop sustainable relationships with senior stakeholders across the ecosystem providing leadership and direction both internally and externally.
- Take responsibility for driving high quality delivery on time and on budget by developing and managing delivery plans and managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies across project and programme of work.
- Provide functional and technical expertise to support programme delivery.
- Implement and ensure delivery and management processes and best practices across delivery methodologies.
We are looking for experience in the following areas:
- Strong interest and experience of technology (custom development on open source modern architecture, cloud platforms, SaaS offerings).
- Experience in running technical/engineering projects and organising teams for Agile delivery.
- Excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, with excellent written and numerical skills, experienced in writing Statements of Work, project approaches and proposals
- Experience tracking and managing key financial metrics for project/programmes contracted through various financial models
- Experience of line managing and developing people and project managing a team of resources.
- Proven ability of successful project and programme delivery at scale using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile methodology
- Extensive experience of project delivery across methodologies and technologies including programme governance, stakeholder management and budgetary control.
Set Yourself Apart:
- Mastery of managing complex deliveries coordinating with internal teams, client teams and 3rd party resources with work plans at scale.
- Experience of working within the public or health sector, if not then an interest to work with public sector clients and to build your knowledge of delivering solutions for the UK Government.
- Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Cloud/SaaS/Industry certifications and credentials.
- Demonstrate a strong Technical and Emotional Quotient.
