Job Description

About 9fin

The world's largest asset class, debt, operates with the worst data.

Technology has revolutionized equity markets with electronic trading, quant algos and instantaneous news. However, in debt capital markets, the picture is completely different. It still behaves like it’s in the 1980s; trillions of dollars of trades are placed over the phone, news is slow, and corporate credit information is imperfect and scattered.

Our mission is to change this.

9fin's proprietary technology delivers fast and comprehensive financial, credit, legal & ESG analysis. Our clients are able to make faster, more informed decisions, win more business and most importantly, save time.

Our fast growing list of clients include 9 of the top 10 Investment Banks, leading Asset Managers, Hedge Funds and Law Firms.

The opportunity

We are looking for a tech-forward, detail-oriented People Operations Lead to join our high-performing people team and build upon our best-in-class people operations activity! We have an incredible HR Tech Stack and the key processes in place for you to come in and scale and elevate to the next level, ready for an exciting level of growth.

What you'll work on

Additionally, you will analyze onboarding survey feedback to continuously iterate and improve the journey for all new 9finners

  • EOR and PEO operations: Create new cases and manage end to end EOR / PEO activities

  • Ticketing & Task Management: Work within our central ticketing system (Linear) to manage incoming requests, track progress on People Ops tasks, effectively manage the triage process.

  • Reporting: Provide people-related reports and analytics as requested to support data-driven decision-making.

  • General support: This role will have exposure to and be expected to execute various ad hoc requests and tasks from the team and will also support all People Ops projects.

  • General support: Be the first point of contact for our team members for general people-related queries, responding quickly and effectively to queries and escalating matters when needed

  • Foster belonging: Support internal events, activities and employee communications that build psychological safety amongst our teams in order to create true engagement and a best-in-class employee experience.

  • Ad hoc office management: Support with office management tasks

  • Process improvement: Consideration for getting continuous improvements in place to ensure that our People Team processes are efficient, effective and user friendly.

  • Vendor Operations and Invoicing: Regularly collaborate with various vendors to ensure day-to-day operations meet the highest standards. Review vendor invoices for first level approval.
