About WeTransfer Advertising and the role:

WeTransfer is seeking a highly driven and creative Sales Advertising Director to drive revenue growth and awareness for WeTransfer Advertising. This role will sit within WeTransfer Advertising and benefit from being part of a global media sales team within a world-class product organization. You will be looked at as the primary business owner in your given book of business, reporting on client and industry insights to key leadership team members.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for your clients/agencies

  • Building on existing account strategy in collaboration with regional Head of Sales

  • Defines and owns account plans to unlock revenue and drive client’s key performance metrics

  • Collaborate closely with account management, measurement & insights, B2B marketing, and ad operation teams to drive business results, optimize campaign performance, and deliver superior client service

  • Takes leads on structuring client development objectives, needs management assistance in building strategic development plan

  • Confidently understands the WeTransfer Advertising product and is able to align opportunities with client’s business objectives

  • Own pipeline and accurate opportunity analysis to support forecasting and planning
    Identifying strategic growth partners and accelerating revenue performance from accounts by way of building a strong network of client decision-makers

  • This is an IC role

What you bring to the table:

  • 5-8 years of experience in digital media sales where you were driving significant revenue growth, leading and securing successful pitches, and creating lasting commercial relationships with brands

  • Proficient in pitching business and being a strong brand ambassador for WeTransfer Advertising

  • A deep understanding of the media landscape and how to proactively pursue opportunities

  • Accurately and effectively manages sales pipeline in Salesforce, identifying and prioritizing opportunities to drive short- and long-term revenue growth

  • Uncover market insights, synthesize and deliver client feedback to shape our business

  • Able to create own market growth plans to reflect business needs, able to qualify leads, sometimes needs assistance from management to build business, identifies relevant stakeholders, build consensus

  • An appetite for learning, prospecting, and closing

  • High-level presentation skills, able to captivate an audience of any size (in person and virtual), engaging to senior level decision makers sometimes with additional support

  • A motivated self-starter who can operate independently and collaboratively and has a passion for initializing and forging new opportunities

  • Able to handle almost all client conversations, sometimes requires the support of their line manager to navigate complex solutions or troublesome situations

  • Brings a high level of creativity and innovation in relationships

  • Confident and skilled in securing key meetings with high-level decision-makers

  • Masterfully handles objections, turning them into actionable, net positive results

  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Adaptable, fast learner who responds well to change and supports others to do the same

  • Competence and confidence to act as an ambassador for WeTransfer Advertising and WeTransfer as a whole

  • Fluent in English – a must

  • Based in the UK
