Role Purpose

As a Senior Product Designer/ UX Sr designer, you will play a key role in shaping Vodafone's digital experiences across Mobile Apps, Web, eCommerce, Enterprise, and Digital Services.
You will own the end-to-end product design process, partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, Analysts, and Business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible, and data-driven customer experiences.
You will transform business problems into simple and scalable digital solutions while ensuring consistency through Vodafone's Design System and design standards. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor designers, influence product strategy, and champion user-centered design across multiple squads.

Job Profile

• Product Design
  - Own the complete product design lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
  - Translate business objectives and customer needs into intuitive product experiences.
  - Produce user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
  - Design scalable experiences for mobile applications, responsive web, and enterprise platforms.
• Discovery & Research
  - Plan and conduct UX research activities.
  - Run usability testing and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  - Analyze customer feedback, behavioral analytics, and business KPIs.
  - Validate assumptions through experimentation and A/B testing.
• Product Strategy
  - Collaborate with Product Managers during product discovery.
  - Contribute to product vision, roadmap discussions, and backlog prioritization.
  - Balance customer needs with technical feasibility and business value.
  - Define success metrics together with Product Owners and Analytics teams.
• Delivery
  - Work closely with Engineering during Agile sprints.
  - Support implementation through design QA.
  - Resolve design issues during development.
  - Ensure delivered products match approved design specifications.
• Leadership
  - Mentor junior and mid-level Product Designers.
  - Review design work and provide constructive feedback.
  - Promote design best practices across squads.
  - Support hiring, onboarding, and capability development.
• Core Responsibilities
  - Lead complex product initiatives independently.
  - Own design decisions from concept to launch.- Create user-centered experiences backed by research and analytics.- Deliver high-quality prototypes and production-ready UI.- Facilitate workshops and design thinking sessions.- Present design rationale to senior stakeholders.- Drive accessibility and inclusive design.- Promote experimentation and continuous product improvement.- Support cross-functional collaboration between Design, Product, Engineering, and Business.- Help evolve Vodafone's Product Design practice.

Comptencies and Qualifications

Must-Have Technical & Professional Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Digital Product Design.
• Proven experience designing complex web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking.
• Experience working within Agile product teams.
• Design Skills
• Strong knowledge of:
  -User-centered Design
  -Interaction Design
  -Information Architecture
  -Visual Design
  -Responsive Design
  -Mobile Design
  -Accessibility (WCAG)
  -Design Thinking
  -Service Design principles
  -Prototyping
• Advanced proficiency in:Figma, FigJam, Prototyping tools,Jira
• Nice to have: HTML/CSS understanding, AI-assisted design tools, Analytics platforms, Maze / UserTesting, Adobe Creative Suite
• Required Experience:
  -Experience delivering digital products from discovery through launch.
  -Experience working within Agile squads.
  -Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers.
  -Experience contributing to Design Systems.
  -Experience using analytics to improve product performance.
  -Experience presenting work to senior stakeholders.
