About this Role

We are seeking a Digital Copy Chapter Lead to build and evolve a specialist copywriting capability supporting both Consumer and B2B areas. The role will combine creative leadership, people development and capability planning, ensuring consistently high-quality digital copy while helping the organisation adopt new AI-enabled ways of working.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop the Digital Copy Chapter, establishing clear standards, frameworks and ways of working across consumer and B2B delivery
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team through structured line management, performance development and succession planning
  • Own and govern copy quality, ensuring content is customer-focused, accessible and aligned with brand, channel and business requirements
  • Drive workforce planning, including capacity management, skills mapping and readiness for future demand
  • Partner with senior delivery, product, design and commercial stakeholders to align copy capability with business priorities
  • Support the GenAI programmes, helping identify, test and embed GenAI use cases, standards and responsible adoption across various copy workflows

Who you are

  • Strong digital copywriting or content expertise, with experience leading and developing specialist teams
  • Proven people leadership, coaching and performance management experience
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into practical capability and workforce plans
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior and multidisciplinary audiences
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with GenAI, AI-assisted content creation or content automation experience considered an advantage
