Product Manager / Finance and Reporting Manager – Internet in the Car
Location: Spain or UK
Function: Vodafone IoT
Department: Product Management & Marketing
Reports to: Senior Product Manager

What you’ll do

As the Finance and Reporting Manager for Internet in the Car, you will be at the forefront of supporting the growth of this innovative consumer product as it launches with major global OEMs like VW, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, Peugeot, Citroën, Volvo, and Hyundai/Kia. Operating across 33 European markets with plans for global expansion, you will navigate a complex financial landscape, managing money flows from both consumer-paid retail bundles and OEM-funded bundles. Your role will involve ensuring these financial flows are accurately tracked and supported through robust reporting frameworks. You will oversee billing processes, manage relationships with payment processors, and handle customer and partner queries efficiently. Additionally, you will lead the preparation and delivery of financial reports, track key performance metrics, and drive improvements in reporting accuracy and efficiency. Your contribution will be crucial in supporting the product’s growth to millions of end users while ensuring revenue streams are properly managed and aligned with Vodafone’s financial standards.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in managing complex financial flows for consumer products across multiple legal entities.
  • In-depth understanding of financial regulations across Europe, including intercompany transfers and multi-currency environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with payment processors and acquiring banks across diverse markets.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including experience creating performance dashboards and delivering financial commentaries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of varied tax treatments across European markets is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to produce performance reporting and analysis, effectively managing large data sets and distilling key outcomes to drive business performance.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional finance/accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • 5+ years' experience in Finance Management or a similar role.
  • 5+ years in a consumer product or technology environment.
  • Self-starter with the confidence and initiative to manage complex processes independently.
  • Detail-oriented, with a natural curiosity and drive to investigate data thoroughly.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with a strong “get-it-done” mindset.
  • Skilled in moderating discussions and resolving conflicts among diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Python programming is a plus, particularly for data automation and advanced analytics.
